Barbara “Barbie” Roth Treuhaft

Barbara, age 95, was celebrated for her warmth, outgoing nature, and genuine interest in others. Her life centered on family, friendship, community, and boating; she and her husband Jack were active members of the North Cape Yacht Club.

She volunteered extensively, including as president of the Quest Garden Club and at Toledo Hospital, and with Jack supported the Toledo Museum of Art, the Toledo Symphony, WGTE, and the Toledo Zoo. A lifetime member of Temple Shomer Emunim, she loved knitting and baking, famous for her sweaters and her “Joe E. Brown” cookies.

She is survived by three children, two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, and was preceded in death by her husband Jack and grandson Ross.
