David J. Pojedynski

David J. Pojedynski, age 71, passed away unexpectedly on May 7, 2026 at his home. He was born in Toledo on February 17, 1955 to Virginia P. (Borysiak) and John Pojedynski.

He began his career as an elementary teacher at St. Adalbert Catholic School and later worked at the Toledo Club, Michelin Tires, and for many years as a dedicated employee at Walgreens' distribution center in Perrysburg. An avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Detroit Tigers, he loved history, reading, and Westerns, and was a man of deep faith and devotion to family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his longtime companion Irene Zunkiewicz. He is survived by his siblings Diane Pojedynski, twin brother Dale (Karen) Pojedynski, and Sandy (Paul) Mocek, along with his nephews and great-nephew.
